About the Anchor Open Class
The “Open” class is simply a mixed-gender and age class (we also offer a women’s-only class for those that prefer that setting, so sign up for where you’ll feel most comfortable!).
While all powerlifting classes at Anchor are beginner friendly, we highly recommend starting with a Monday, Wednesday, Friday class if you are brand new to the barbell.
These classes meet 2 or 3 days per week for 60 or 90 minutes. Our coaches are there to provide you with all of your programming, as well as any movement tips and advice you need as you progress.
For 2-day-per-week variant classes, you also get an additional third day of programming to do on your own!
Each class is limited to 10 participants in our newly-renovated and outfitted facility in downtown Durham.
